Brad, thank you so much for starting this blog. I am looking forward to reading it and posting often.
I think often of the farm where I grew up and to some extent mourn its passing. I'm happy that it is now public land so that I can go there whenever, although I live pretty far away and rarely do go there. I miss the daffodils that Papa and Gram planted along the road Up-On-Top. I miss fishing and watching tadpoles grow in the pond. I miss the curly grass on a hillside above Oak Ridge that overlooked our farm.
Today I got a postcard from Gordon Stevenson wonder if I'm a relative of his. He encouraged me to check out www.averillproject.com but I haven't done it yet.

Welcome to the Averill Family Blog

This blog is for the Averill Family that grew up at 6189 Stanford Road, Peninsula, Ohio 44264. That would be David Averill, now a professor at Ross Medical School in Dominica (no - not The Dominican Republic!); Mary Beth Averill, now a writing coach in Northampton, Massachusetts; and, Brad Averill, owner of Widltime Foods (http://www.wildtime.com) in Eugene, Oregon. Of course all their family, friends, cousins and so on are welcome to join in.
